Make your way to the Kanazawa Asanogawa Enyukai Hall, just a short walk from the Asanogawa Ohashi Bridge.
The museum features a renovated kura storehouse, which is home to a diorama of the Higashi Chaya District. It looks just like the real thing!
Enjoy conversation and drinks with a Kanazawa geiko entertainer, alongside food from a high-end restaurant, in an environment just like a real chaya venue — the highlight of a meal like this is the fun social back-and-forth with the geiko.
The prestigious restaurant Otomoro has served traditional Kaga cuisine since 1830. Today, their premium Japanese-style meals are available as bento boxed meals, both at stations and for these events.
(Drinks are provided, but in limited quantities — not an all-you-can-drink plan.)
Ozashiki parties also involve games like Tora-tora. Players stand on opposite sides of a wall and pose in time with music. They can choose from three poses, much like rock-paper-scissors.
(Actual games may vary.)
Konpira Funefune is another popular ozashiki game. Players need to keep up with the music as it gradually gets faster and faster.
(Actual games may vary.)
