春のタイトルは「Meet a Geisha in Kanazawa」でしたが、 金沢での芸妓（げいこ）さんの呼び方を大切にするため、今回のイベントから「Meet a Geiko in Kanazawa」と表記を統一します。
The title of spring was “Meet a Geisha in Kanazawa”, in order to cherish the way geisha are called in Kanazawa, from this event onwards, we will unify the notation as “Meet a Geiko in Kanazawa”.

金沢の茶屋は「一見さんお断り」のしきたりがあり、馴染み客と一緒でなければお座敷に入ることはできません。一方、茶屋街を訪れる観光客からは「どこに行けば金沢芸妓の踊り、おもてなしを体験できるのか？」という声が多数寄せられます。
The chaya geiko entertainment venues of Kanazawa generally have a strict policy requiring any new customer to be vouched for by an existing customer, which means that ordinary members of the public never get the opportunity to enjoy an ozashiki party. At the same time, we often hear from visitors to the Chaya districts of Kanazawa, asking where they could see geiko performances and experience geiko hospitality.
そこで、茶屋文化と金沢芸妓のミュージアムである「金沢 浅の川園遊会館」では、当館2Fの本格的な「舞台」と20名収容可能な「お座敷スペース」を活用し、「金沢芸妓の粋に触れる お座敷体験」をお届けいたします。
The Kanazawa Asanogawa Enyukai Hall is a museum of Kanazawa’s Chaya district culture and geiko (geisha) entertainment, and our second floor is equipped with an authentic geiko stage and an ozashiki party space large enough to fit twenty people. To help meet these visitor requests for geiko encounters, we now use this floor to provide an opportunity for visitors to experience an ozashiki party and the polished skills of these performers for themselves.
「こんなに間近で金沢芸妓の踊りを鑑賞できるの？」「お座敷遊びに興じたり、芸妓さんにお酌してもらったり、本物のお茶屋に来たみたい！」と、感動いただけると思います。

If you cancel on the day of the event, you will be charged a 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 1 day prior to the event date will be charged a 40% cancellation fee.
